My Background and Expertise

Hello, I'm Cheri Stalmann, Certified Massage and Lymphedema Therapist.  I bring to my massage practice over a decade of experience as a health and wellness professional, including 4 years as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant working with post-surgical and rehabilitation patients.

I earned my Lymphedema Therapy Certification (Vodder Technique) through Klose Training in Denver, and I am certified by the California Massage Therapy Council (#98540), with over 500 hours of training from the McKinnon Institute in Oakland.

I currently provide on-site therapeutic massage to elder residents at a beautiful Assisted Living/Skilled Nursing facility in Oakland, and I work as a massage therapist with The Fountain Project Health and Wellness Center in Richmond.

I've been a volunteer provider of oncology massage with the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic in Oakland since 2024.

About My Practice

In my private practice, I offer customized 60-,

75- and 90-minute sessions that combine the most appropriate techniques to address your health goals.

Sessions are offered in a peaceful Richmond studio (pictured) and a lovely South Berkeley space near Ashby & Telegraph; addresses will be provided upon booking.  (The Richmond studio has free street parking and 3 steps to enter; it is not wheelchair accessible.  The Berkeley location has free street parking and is wheelchair accessible via elevator.)

All new clients receive a complimentary 10-15 minute telephone consultation prior to your visit to ensure that my services are appropriate for you.  As with all medical professionals, I will ask you to fill out a brief medical history and consent form before we begin our first session together.

I am available for home visits in most locations along the I-80 corridor from Pinole to Berkeley for an additional charge of $50-75 depending on location.

I look forward to speaking with you soon!
